FS - '94 ZR1 - Admiral Blue / Black - 31K mi - $32,990 - partial trade for motorcycle
For sale: 1994 ZR1 Corvette Mileage: 31,000 Exterior Color: Admiral Blue (total production=56) Interior Color: Black Top: Tinted Acrylic VIN 1G1YZ22JXR5800162 HP: 405 upgraded to approx 450 (see bolt-on modifications below) Price: $32,990 – Will consider partial trade for a motorcycle – a late model Harley Sportster would be ideal This is a fabulous example of a ZR1. You will not be disappointed. I’ve owned it 5 years and purchased it from the original owners, Michael and Gerri Cox in San Jose, CA with approximately 27,000 miles on the odometer. It is only driven on sunny warm days and spends most of the time under a soft custom cover in the garage. It has a few bolt-on modifications: · The original cat-back exhaust has been replaced with a stainless steel 2.5” Borla system. And a 2.5” Bassani x-pipe. · The stock exhaust manifolds and cats were replaced with Marc Haibeck’s stainless header and cat system. This is an exact replacement for the original exhaust manifold. No change was needed to the cat-back exhaust system. All the original exhaust manifold components have been saved and are included. · The 3.45 ring and pinion and speedometer gears were replaced with 4.10 gears by Marc Haibeck. The original ring and pinion and speedometer gears are in excellent condition and are included. · Marc Haibeck reprogrammed the EPROM. The power key is on by default, the fuel and spark curves have been modified and the fuel cutoff limit was increased to 7500 RPM. · It has an open air-filter box. The original air-filter box is included. · The air intake snorkel includes supports from Marc Haibeck to prevent deformation under full throttle. Included Items: · Stock exhaust manifolds and components removed when Haibeck headers were installed. · Off-road pipes that slip in place of the cats. · 3.45 ring and pinion plus speedometer gears removed when 4.10 gears were installed. · Stainless steel Borla resonator that was removed when the x-pipe was installed. · K&N air filter · Stock air filter box · Front license plate cover · Removable top soft case · Wolf front bra · Custom soft dust cover for garage storage · Original floor mats in perfect condition · New shop manuals · Spare valve stem caps · Touch-up paint · Original brochures – new condition · Heart of the Beast book · ZR1 hat – new · Original owners video tape · Original owner documentation (owner book, warrantee which names Michael and Gerri Cox as original owners, letter from J. C. Perkins, GM of Chevrolet, Corvette push-button flashlight, Corvette ballpoint pen, and so on). This is a terrific ZR1. It is in fantastic condition and a real hoot to drive. Re: FS - '94 ZR1 - Admiral Blue / Black - 31K mi - $32,990 - partial trade for motorcycle
Just got back from visiting Kevin. Being a new ZR-1 owner, I had some questions. He checked out my car and was most helpful. I had the opportunity to see his ZR-1. Its everything he has listed and more. If your in the market for a CLEAN 94 ZR-1. Give him a call. Photos do not show how good this car looks. You really have to see it !!! Good luck with your sale ( even though I hope you keep it !!) Thanks again. Bob 90 ZR-1 # 342

Thanks for the kind words. I enjoyed your visit and the chance to see your really looowwww mileage '90. I've quietly pulled my '94 off the market. You might have noticed that the pictures did not load in this thread. I am very disappointed in the market right now and don't think it makes sense to try and sell into it. The other thing I have been evaluating is the price. When I put it back on the market, I am going to price it relative to the '95 Zs, not the '93 and '92 Zs. I feel like the pricing on '94 Zs should be closer to the '95s than the '93 and '92 Zs. It was good to meet another Chicagoland BOTB (Brother of the Beast). Don't forget! Drive it like you stole it! - Kevin |
