If you can would you PM efnfast and explain how to post a pic. Your dip stick handle is on the list but has a few customers ahead of it. Hang in there

Re: Carter, new part,I think.
Cliff,
I just emailed you a pic Efnfast sent me. It shows the Bypass Plug installed and the heat shrink wrap used as a clamp. Very clean, indeed! Can you post the pic here, thanks......

And explain to me exactly what heat shrink wrap (you said Gates) is tight enough to keep the coolant 15 psi from leaking out around the plug. Exactly what heat shrink wrap, where to get it, and exactly how it was applied Maybe too many Exactlys

Re: Carter, new part,I think.
I'll get the part number. I had the same heat shrink on a piece of 3/8" round stock and it worked fine. Now this plug of Carters has a couple of ribs, so I anticipate no issues. I hit it with a heat gun. -Steve

Re: Carter, new part,I think.
I concur....that is the nuts Cliff, I have you down for two of the Bypass Plugs with engraving. I'm awaiting efnfast as he is providing me the part number for the heat shrink. I'll be offering the Bypass Plug with and without the heat shrink depending on the look you are going for. Price will be aded shortly. Efnfast can chime in but the plug is NOT just a 3/8 plug. The plug is tight without the heat shrink as he can attest. I would like to get at least 10 people signed up for this so post here if wanting one. Also state if you want engraving or heat shrink, too. Thanks for your patience as I had to fit the R&D for this between jobs. Pricing to be posted soon.

Re: Carter, new part,I think.
Bertha is up and running, she's been quite for a while as my hose was open ended. The plug is a nice snug fit, better than the 3/8" round stock I was using with the heat shrink. Soon as she's up to temp and pressure I'll report back. This thing is so clean looking.....
