Hey, anybody looking for fresh 1995 LT5?
The following ad is posted at the ZR-1 Registry For Sale section:

New GM ZR-1 engine, GM #10234780. This is a new production engine complete with wiring harness, clutch assembly, bell housing, intake manifold and injectors, water pump and serpentine belt. This a complete assembly line engine stored in a Chevrolet dealership showroom. $12,900.00

Jim McComb is a Peoria, Illinois Chevy dealership.
I called Bill up, who is the parts manager there, and this is a for real deal.
They have had 2 of these engines in inventory since 1996.
He just sold one to a guy in NY and now wants move this last one.
Almost bought it myself just to have around but my finance minister threatened heavy "sanctions".

Eye candy!! Nothing like a new one, only thing Id be worried about is the rings etching into the walls from not being turned over.

sorry, a little slow on the reply , just seen it now. my Ruby's supposed to be picked up from Michigan tommorow, May 22. i know all about our VP's Z-25. we've been talking back & forth on that subject for month's now. our's are almost identical milage as luck would have it. only differance is he's driving his & i haven't seen mine yet . i know, i know
