There were ZR-1's on the judging floor with owners names that I did not recognize.

There were 2 C7's on the floor for "touch - feel" and "sit ins". Everyone had to play with everything electrical and maybe 2:00 they decided to move one and got the "no crank"! Battery hadn't enough to crank it -click and done!

I believe it was Tom Hill who had the "no crank" honors and he commented before getting in - "watch this not start"! When we left the hood was up and the convenience center under the hood was in his hand. I would have guessed that had they just walked away from the car for a good bit and let it sit - it very well may have cranked.

i got to see my first c7 this past weekend, and I couldn't have been more disappointed if it had a turbo 4 in it.

Kevin - your comment doesn't surprise me. I spent very little time checking the C7 BUT I'd say your thoughts aren't shared by those that seem to have the "funds" for the purchase. I'd say that's likely what is actually going to matter. I didn't hear a comment from anyone that seemed unreceptive. I'll say this and take it for what it's worth. The wives certainly seemed to like the hell out of it, one gal commented, "maybe the new kitchen can wait I'll have one of these"!

One fellow mentioned to his Son who certainly was "awe struck" - "it will be maybe 20 years or more before your ready and this car might be RIGHT ON TIME". That Kevin I'd say speaks for the car. NO ONE asked me if I thought Kevin might approve - NO ONE!
