Thanks for passing along those measurements. Saves me from measuring them up. |

After a lot of research I got a Direct Lift Pro Park 8S last summer to hold my Z and a BMW 5 series. I have ten feet of height and my interior dimensions are 21' x 21'. Raised the garage tracks and installed a jackshaft opener. There are pictures of it in my albums section if you click on my avatar. Let me know if you have any questions about it after you look at them. - Bob

Well I took possession of the new house and the new lift just fits for the ZR1. I ended up going with a Direct Lift on 220 power. I wish I had a bit more room, but at least I'm able to park both cars in the single bay. I had 9 feet (8.5 under the loft floor support beam) to work with and the ZR1 is sitting on the locks at the perfect height to keep the Z06 underneath.
Next steps is to finish running new lights....pull string lights, good grief. Thanks again everyone for the information and contribution earlier this year. ![]() |

Nah, it's not going anywhere with the car on it. It has the optional casters to move it around, so I'm happy not to bolt it down. I marked out the post bases and lifted the hoist a few times with the car on it and they never moved an inch; so good enough for me. Talking to many who own 4 posts, a good portion don't bolt theirs down either.

It is just with the lift being the only tie-in of the four posteds; makes me uncomfortable. ![]() ![]() |

My bend - Pak says the same thing - no need to bolt it down as it also comes with casters. How ever I did make sure to level the posts. Might want to use some card board or something across the drive on ramps to prevent drips on that pretty yellow one just in case of a leak.
