a bit of off topic coming along with modification details.

I'm thinking the urethane (actually polyurethane) bushings
will go in with an added zerk fitting to grease away any squeaks
on down the road a few years. I did this to the lower bushings and
it's already come in handy. I guess I'm getting farther and farther from
NCRS but she still looks like a ZR-1 and the FSM is still mostly accurate
for her.

I see the need to begin putting together a painfully accurate and detailed list of mods. I think I'll use the "profile" area of the new ZR-1Net Registry webpage for this.

New carpet
I have the Tune Trapper. It only works fair. Still looking for a good antenna.

-Replacing front shocks
-New battery cables
-New Goodyear serpentine belt
Unless something else goes wrong (keeping my fingers crossed), I should be good to go for a while.

Nothing major.
Just installed the headlights I bought from GC.
Also did my own oil change for the frist time, usually take it to the garage, he only charges me 20 bucks, worth it for the chance to get under it.
The console cover I bought from 91zrocket.
Buff out the paint with the Adams stuff wife bought me for Xmas.
Injectors, maybe. Not giving me trouble yet, but I know they're due.
Also looking at a Greg Smith 4 poster. There's a distributer locally, so no freight.

I'm on my arse and was supposed to do some of these in 2012, but somehow other priorities too precedence and it never happened. Some of my plans are dependent on if I am moving back to Hawaii in a few months, but none the less, here are my plans:

1. Remove power antenna and install tune trapper stealth unit under rear tray; plug hole for now until I can shave hole with new paint job (on the shelf, need to find plug and paint)
2. HID headlight conversion (on the shelf)
3. Install DRM coilover suspension with new FX3 shocks and Banski complete C4 rear kits (waiting for DRM kit, Carter brackets, and Banski set-up)
4. Install C5 mirrors (on the shelf and already painted color matched)
5. Replace steering wheel with Momo competition and install NRG hub quick release/lock (on the shelf)
6. Make Christmas wreath for next year out of stock steering wheel once removed (XMas 2013)
7. Put SW headers back on and install new SW X pipe w/Dynomax Ultraflo 17220 (single 3" in/out) and Pypes Challenger tips (on the shelf)
8. Autometer dual gauge pillar mount with wide band A/F and fuel pressure gauges (have mount, need gauges)
9. Repair/replace two front speakers that are not working

Not in any particular order. Happy modding in 2013!

Craig

Nice list Craig, I'm looking to do steering wheel also, DRM coil overs, hopefully redo the interior with leather and Alcantara.

I heard about the Alcantara. All you need now is put a couple of Italian horses on that car and you should be done.

Thanks Ricky. I've spend more than double the value of the car already, but that is the fun I guess. I can't wait to see your steering wheel and Alcantara.............it sounds sweet.
