Can anyone tell me what a 33 code is? I don't have my service manuals yet, on backorder. The book that came with the tester says it is either a MAF high freq or voltage or a MAP high freq or voltage. The book is general corvette, not ZR-1 specific. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Leo

Make sure the MAP sensor hose is plugged in. You currently getting a high idle?

Yes to the high idle and it is also hard to get started. The vacuum pump works like it is supposed to, but it is quite loud. Any thoughts there or where I could get a replacement.

It sounds like your MAP sensor hose has come off. Dig around behind the plenum on the drivers side, I'll bet dollars to donuts that you'll find that the hose isn't connected. TomC '90ZR1 #792

Guess you got it figured out by now. Just wanted to add to the others that I had exactly the same trouble, same code and sure enough, the tiny MAP sensor hose had come off it's place on the rear left side of the plenum.
