I really liked mine..but I like to drive em, and it was too much work to keep a '73 absolutely road worthy....it was a great touring car though.

Wow, that's what a spark shield looks like. Well done!
I'd still have to give the nod to a 73 for looks over most other MYs.
The first year of the extended nose and still classic chrome in the back.
How much did it sell for?

Sold it for $20k a few years ago......first guy to look at it......I paid $14.5k for it and drove it 8 years.....all original down to the alternator, with 70k on the clock.......I'm sure I let it go too cheap but oh well. '73 is definitely the best looking year although the chrome bumper guys will argue.....the '73 front rake is much better. I put the shielded wires on it after the pic above.....man it looked good with those braided steel wires.

In looking for this pic I find it's like looking for a family member.
All I have is this fuzzy picture of a picture to show of mine.
I miss the off-the-line torque this thing had and the ability
to pivot about the front end in a quick U turn. The Z sticks so well that you can't do that.
I found this car to be lower maintenance than the Z.
No computers, sensors and other systems to fail. Just spark, throttle and the smell of unburned gas
