Default Newbie Question

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 92 ZR1 with 18500 miles, Red/White, no modifications.

I Was wondering if anyone knew how many were made with this color combination.

Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,
Welcome aboard. As far as I know there is no color combo information available. Only the body number data is available. Looks like 130 red cars were built in 1992. Lots of info on the Net Registry Site.

According to this, there were only 709 C4's in 1992 that opted for white leather sport seats. So I'd guess that's a fairly uncommon color combo. Do you have any pictures?

and welcome to the forum.

In 1992 there were only 130 bright red's and 17 dark red metallic's made. Add to that not to many had white interiors % wise, and your combo is not common.
Several members have worked on compiling stats for color combos for the 94's & 95's because of the smaller numbers. Obviously 90's and 91's would take the most work to compile having the largest production numbers.

I hope you become a regular poster on the forum, and feel free to ask any questions as the group of members here are always willing to lend a hand.

As stated...there were 130 Torch Red's in 1992. I would bet there are no more than 5 in your color combo for 1992. White is not a very popluar color for the interior...and it wasn't offered in 1994/1995 at all. Rememebr there were only 502 ZR-1s produced in the entire year....so I would say that the Red/White is a rare one for sure.

Thanks everyone for the response.

I have checked the Net Registry site, found this info. Under general ZR-1 information, interior section states that there is " One Red exterior/White interior '92 ZR-1 with vin# 392". Mine is # 384.
There was one at carlisle a few years ago, I dont know anything about the car other than it had the same color combo.

Thanks again
