ZR-1 Video's
As some of you already know from the ZR-1 section of CF, I have offered to make copies of ZR-1 VHS tapes (either original owners tapes, or ones like the service tapes) by transferring them to DVD. It would not be for profit, as I would only want my to recoup my costs. My only reason to offer, aside from helping my fellow ZR-1 community members would be that I have a copy of various tapes. Then they would be available to anyone who wanted a copy of one.
So far, I have one DVD. It is a 1991 ZR-1, LT5 Training Tape generously donated by Ted (Bigvmaxx). It is really two tapes in one that shows the components of the ZR-1, LT5, and how to perform certain mechanical service to the LT5. Anyone intersted in obtaining a DVD copy needs to send me an PM. Also anyone interested in getting a DVD copy of your original VHS copy should send me a PM for my mailing address. :xmassanta: |

I only had one member send his S-VHS of a 1991 ZR-1/LT5 Training Video to be transferred, and I sent him several copies. I also sent out half a dozen to various members who requested one, and they were very pleased. So if you would like one of those just send me a PM. If you would like to have your current VHS transferred to DVD, I'll be happy to do it for you as well. My original hope was to build a library of DVD's for every year ZR-1 owners video, along with other ZR-1 video's like the training tape. The response was almost non existent, so I have not pursued it further. However if enough people are willing to send their tapes to me for a week, then I can try starting the project again. (assuming I survive Hurricane Wilma) |

Re: ZR-1 Video's
So if you would like one of those just send me a PM:
Yes I am interested in having a copy. Don't I know until point can have problems with the DVD and the norm NTSC (Pal=Europa-Spain)? . With the DVD it would be possible to pass it to DIVX-MPG4? and to be able to him to send for e-mail? To reproduce a S-VHS in format NTSC I don't have problems and neither with the monitor it Captures or TV since accepts all the norms. I believe that at the moment all have the video recorders in digital format and we usually spend the recordings publishing DVD. The best thing would be to be able to send him with this format type to be able to publish with a good quality. ? I ask.

Re: ZR-1 Video's
What is the best way to convert VHS to DVD anyway? I have got an Easymaker by AverMedia to get that done, but it doesn't seem to wanna work properly. The images are grainy and black and white, only the sound is ok. Any suggestions?
I would love a copy of a nice DVD about ZR-1's, how much are they? Dominic |
