The transmission in my 91 has the dreaded 1-2 clash, and it's not so smooth grabbing 3rd either.
Now that it's winter, I'd like to get it taken care of, but I'm not sure what is the best option: New trans, or find someone to rebuild the one I have? Seems like there may be a limited number of folks who are really familiar with the ZF-6? I've been keeping my eyes open, but have yet to run accross an appealing transmission on the market. Thoughts? Only person to call is Bil Boudreau....
New ones are hard to find, but can be bought. Many have bought new and sent them to Bill to be ballanced and blueprinted. I did, WOW... He can repair your transmission, but it will be pricey. Here is his # 602-319-6575 ![]() David |
