Default Brake Puzzler

I just got done swapping out the front brake pads on my 92 and I've run into a situation I never encountered before:

Every time, after bleeding the RR and the LR, the pedal would be nice and stiff. Then, I'd jump over to the RF and the pedal would go soft again. WTH? Obviously, some air is getting back into the lines. Could it possibly be the bleeder screw needs to be replaced? Any other ideas?

Thanks,

John

I've had similar difficulty from running the master dry and sucking some air in... I've bled the master in those cases and it seemed to help.

92s and newer have traction control and I think the bleeding procedure
is different than for the earlier non-TC vehicles. Or it may have to do with a different ABS modulator - somebody with a 92 or newer please jump in.

TC (ASR) is a throttle-based system only, so I don't think that's involved here... Though i seem to recall something about a change in bleeding procedure, now that you mention it -- but I don't know what year the change was made.
