If I recall correctly, last year Pete ran at least an 11.4, Dom at least a 12.8, and I ran (stock) a 13.1 for a total of 37.3 for an average of 12.4. It was obvious there were some faster cars this year than last, but even last year's times would have put us solidly in 3rd this year. Dayam! Coulda-shoulda-woulda!! Let's hope for betta wethah next year. And, thanks Dom for your leg work on running down the info. Mebby next year, or mebby we put on our own CC? What say y'all to that?? P. P.

Re: Corvette Challenge Results
He is quoting from the CF, that is someone elses car running that time/ speed. Although I believe Dominic has run 119MPH.....his time is 12.8....he has that European sense of time...shows up late to the finish line

Re: Corvette Challenge Results
Bob,
Don't I wish! No that was part of the post from Jeff Greystone, president of the Crown Point CC. He has an SC C5. Sorry for the confusion. I could not attend due to the passing of 2 family members within hours of each other. |

On a lighter note....I almost spit my coffee on my screen when I saw those numbers for your ZR-1. Although you are not too far behind what appears to be a supercharged C5! Them ZR-1's ain't too shabby for antiques! Tom
