Default Anyone else alittle stiff in the morning?

Noticed in the 90 the ZF is not willing to go into gear right away, however once it runs for awhile and once its on the road the car shift smoothly?

Any thoughts?

Uhhha there's the problem.

Lee get that crappy BMW stuff out.

I would go with Amsoil MTF 5w30 or GM OE stuff.

Been there done that.

Unless you like to replace ZF parts, ZF parts = lotso money.

Hmm not sure about that one Pete and the BMW stuff was the factory fill even the ZFDoc states the BMW stuff is the way to go. Lee I dont have a problem in the morning but its a little warmer in my climate vs. yours. Pete you think maybe its region specific especially in Chicago land?

Probably is the colder climate/temps,which means the BMW is only good for warmer climates.

Lee, change the fluid to Amsoil MTF 5W30 if your still stiff in the morning.

Then it's hydrolics.

Cost you under $30 to save your ZF.

I can get the Amsoil locally.

Pete, I use them BMW fluid out here as well. Driven is sub 40 weather with no issues. Any car I service and change the fluid in, get's the BMW fluid and no complaints.
