Default Belt Tensioner

While checking the freon charge the belt tensioner was bouncing about. I replaced the belt several months ago and I am wondering how much movement should there be on the tensioner? I checked the FSM and it referenced a mark on tensioner but I was unable to locate it. So how do go about checking reference mark and how much should the tensioner move? The location of the reference mark maybe in plan site and I am just over looking it

Aurora40,
Thanks for the video. That looks very similar to mine.

Thanks Z51JEFF,
It sounds like that after you replaced the tensioner it made very little difference. Is that correct?

I should have clarified that after I replaced the original the new one doesn't bounce around, the original tensioner spring was weak enough that I could hold it in my hand and move it back and forth.I paid maybe $170 for mine and just found a place that has them for $110.

Here is another question. Is it possible to rebuild the tensioner with new springs and pulleys?
