NOS Original Shocks
I see these quite often for $150 for 2 shocks.
Is that a good deal? Also, I notice these actuators sell for a ton new but this might be another option: http://www.captainzcnc.com/ |

The cups the clips the bushings and the doughnuts. None of that hardware comes with those shocks.

I purchased the $150 FX3 front Bilstein shocks and they are correct units (sans the pieces GOLDCYLON notes...but are on your car anyway unless worn or damaged).
Jeff....concerning the labels...they are different New Bilstein shock>>  OEM on my ZR>>  On the OEM label DELCO appears |

While they are correct replacements they are not OEM. they are aftermarket..
I talked with a guy from Bilstein about this on Thursday.. They are the direct replacement but are not OEM, so the valving is a slight different (harder) then the TRUE OEM fronts. The Bilstein guy also stated that the OEM ones will have DELCO, the replacements will not. I also asked if it would be an issue for ride with the OEM rears and these new fronts.. he said probably not. in my case, needing to conserve funds, I bought a pair and will have them grooved for Coilovers, I will also have my spare rear grooved to in hopes of getting those sent to Bilstein for a refresh at the end of the year. As for hardware.. are the cups and washer really hard to find? I have a complete set of used Bilstein shocks with hardware. but now will have 2 pairs of fronts and one pair of rears plus the set on the car.. I also asked what the difference (if any) front to rear.. he said the valving is different (other then the obvious 'T' bar)
