Default tips on pulling cam covers?

Anybody have any tips on pulling cam covers on the LT5? I think it wiped a lobe on one of the cams...

Yea, this is getting a bit out there. I guess I'd better break down and change my SOP on oil changes to the AMSOIL 10w-40 stuff Marc tabbed as suitable for our motors. It's just such a drag to have to get this stuff via mail order. The UPS guys are gonna love me. They are gonna love the case of oil at three month intervals!

I'm using M1 10w-30 full syn with the Kirban ZDDP additive, three bottles ZDDP per change. The ZDDP is cheap to ship in six pacs & the oil I buy at COSTCO for $30 / case + sales tax. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
