Looking for an Opinion on Wheels
I want to go with 18" wheels and tires and I'm looking at CCWs. The two I like are the Classics (3 piece):
and the SP20s: The above picture of the Classics looks a bit busy. On a car, they don't: If I went with the SP20s, I'd probably go with 19" rears and 18" fronts. Rignt now I have chrome plated A-molds. What would you go with? |

Re: Looking for an Opinion on Wheels
I run the CCW classic on my race car. It is a bitch to keep clean, but I'm also cooking the brakes and have hot pad dust etching into the metal.
If I was getting new rims for the Z, it would be the Fikse FM5. CCW just has to many funky sizes that don't work. 19's look like a hot wheels car. And truth be known, I hat the exposed bolts on 3 piece wheels. |

Re: Looking for an Opinion on Wheels
Honestly I'm not a fan of any of those pictured. The split 10-spokes are too busy, especially in polished alum. The split 5-spokes are too open, and look cartoonish in that 19-20" size. The rear looks like a little Honda Civic brake with that huge wheel.
The FM5's are nice, but sort of plain considering how much they cost. They look nice, but I don't know that they look any better than A-molds? I think these wheels are pretty neat, though they might look even better with a 6th spoke. I like how the spoke has a slight sweep to it: http://www.hrewheels.com/media/galle...ack_19_20_.JPG
