Well, for months I have had 390+rwhp, great looking 21K mile car, with the exception of some pretty crooked *** exhaust tips.

A year ago I had an X-Pipe put on, during the reinstall they could not get the pipes on straight(they have always been somewhat crooked). I was in a hurry and had to leave with some seriously messed up tips. On three seperate ocassions I have spent about 2-3hrs pushing pulling, etc on the tips. A few weeks ago Hans(CCMANO) mentioned that the rubber hangers might be switched.....sure as **** once I reversed them the muffler position improved about 100%, so if you are struggling with setting up the tips and they seem to keep tipping up every time you tighten them, flip the exhaust hangers around...problemo solved!

which hangers the part boplting to the car? or the 'L' bolted to the muffler?

I sorta had that problem with the B&B's....not so much crooked as they were too close to the cut outs in the bumper. I wound up removing the the L brackets and elongating the holes. Now the tips sit about a 1/2" lower where they should.

I also was pissed off about the crooked tips (Borla)
and took it to a muffler shop. They heated pretty hot
the connection of the tips to the muffler and used a
pipe wrench to "adjust" the angles. It helped, but was
Mickey Mouse IMHO and caught the plastic wheel well mud flap
on fire. I have a new liner but I'm too lazy to replace it.

PS At a car show a Borla rep told me my car must have
"shifted" on original transport.
