SS Braided Brake Hoses
HI - Anybody have a source for Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses for the ZR-1?? I've exhausted all the obvious possibilities; Corvette after-market suppliers, Brake upgrade mfrs, etc. NO LUCK!! OR, does anybody have experience using "standard" banjo fittings on the HD brake calipers?? Any help would be appreciated - IT"S TIME TO DRIVE!!!!! Thanks Ted

Ted,
Not to discourage you but I'm pretty sure one of our members put on SS brake lines and had a brake failure attributed to them. I cannot remember the specifics off hand, but I think it had something to do with them lacking a spring that came with the stock lines, that fit over to protect against breakage. I can get more info on this if you need it, but was wondering what your motivation was in changing them? |

I think many people go to CF's forum not knowing we have our very own. I visit both, but would be glad to spend more time here. |
