So, after some encouragement from Uly (thanks!!
![]() The plenum is off, new wires are on, new injectors are in the rail and I'm ready to start buttoning it back up... then I see this horrendous-looking thing runing from one bank to the other under where the rear of the plenum should go: http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/h...1/IMG_1705.jpg. I have no idea how I didn't notice the condition of the hose during the removal - it's nearly cracked in half at three places! I an 98% sure that this is the PCV hose and valves, but before I go off and order a new ones, I thought I'd make sure that I am asking for the right parts and see if anyone knows of a more economical solution than ordering from Kurt White? I'll call the local Autozone, Checkers, NAPA, etc. tomorrow, but I'm not optimistic that I'll find what I need local. Thanks!! |

LOL, damn somebody really did a shade tree fix on that.
it's the PCV hose. You can only get it from Kurt. http://www.whiteracingproducts.com/i...oducts_id=1012 |

The zip tie wasn't really a problem. But the two large cracks in the hose are. Probably not helping your emissions.

Man, that's just plain ole ugly! It hurts just to look at it.
That piece of hose has to be in the top 3 most expensive rubber parts on a Z! ![]()

Actually the aftermarket part is better thent he OEM at $250
PCV valves are not too bad at $14 but are those LT5 specific or will others form the local parts place work?

Hey when I did my plenum pull, I noticed the inj housing bolts were all pretty loose. Check them & the breather box bolts. My breather box bolts were finger tight!!
