I like the new ZR1s, but I HATE the new emblems. The giant blue "1" looks really out-of-place and kinda "rice-y."

I can deal with the emblems a lot more that that rediculous clear patch through the hood.

Couldn't they find a nicer place than a fast food parking lot?

I agree......with that "window" in the hood, the sins of the emblems' pales!...but since I couldn't afford to pay the sales tax on a new ZR1 my opinion is just back ground noise.

P. S. I wouldn't have a new Z towed if it showed up in my parking space!

I really dig the new ZR1's. But why did they have to put that cheezy clear plastic in the hood? What's to see? It reminds me of the 70's and 80's when they put fake scoops and crap on cars to make them look cool even though they were limp in the power dept!! I would much rather see a solid hood with functional scoops or hump with script like "Supercharged" or something. Not some woosy looking piece of crap like that! If they were trying to look like the Ferrari's with the clear plastic hoods, they should have looked at what THEY revealed. Not a plastic intercooler cover, thats for sure!!

Thats my rant for the day. Just had to get it off my chest. It's just that Detroit is always whinning because sales are down againts the imports, but they continue to put out cars with fake leather, phoney plastic wood dash panels, plastic knobs and switches, clear plastic hoods revealing nothing, etc etc. Ughhh
