Default Unusual Markings on half shafts?

Girlfriend is getting ready for her new transmission, found these markings on her half shafts after I'd taken out the spare tire carrier (for the first time in the car's history):

Crabs,
Better tell your girlfriend that she has nice
half shafts.

BTW, here in LA they would be called Tatoos

Assuming your ZR is a 1990 you then have a VIN of 622 or higher... pre 622 have steel shafts and post... aluminum...maybe the markings were just a way to keep track of the half shaft transition????
Michael

Edit: looked at your profile... 1990 # 792

Boy...
Tough crowd.
Mysterious handwritten symbols, crashing planes, and tats.

This sounds like one of those topics that the NCRS will spend countless days being torn up about it.
