Default Software to change speedometer signal

Does anybody has a software or know how to change the original set-up of the signal which runs from the transmission to the ECM/CCM?
As I've changed my rear end to another ratio, I'll need to modify my present system for correct MPH reading.
I know there are some additional convertors/gear sets on the market, but I would prefer to alter the existing software if possible.
If somebody might have an idea, would be great!

Thanks

Thomas

Only thing that is available is the speedo correction box, which you splice into the existing wires and program it.

Sorry to dig up this old thread...

My question is to Jeff,

Have you used the Cyberdyne box? If so how well did it work? I just changed to 4.10 gears and bought a Cyberdyne box. When I hook it up, the speedo just sits there at zero and eventually the "service engine soon" light comes on. When I remove the box all is OK. I'm calling Cyberdyne in the morning.
Any thoughts?

Why wouldn't you change speedo gear in trans?
When I installed a ZF-6 in my 84, I also used 3.45 gears in rear. Just need right combo of drive and ring gear.

Gears are $120 from Haibeck not to mention the labor involved. The Cyberdyne calibration box was $49 and is precisely adjustable. (assuming I can get it working)
