out cruizin doing my let her breath and the check gauges came on . cked and everything normal . turned on the scanner and no trouble codes .So anyone have this haPPEN TO THEM.?what do i ck . ?

All gauges read normal? SES? This might be one of those that require pulling the bulb and playing ignorant. I dunno, but I am sure someone here does. Goodluck.

Hummmm, just two things come to mind. Temp & volts, if either are out of normal range I think the "check gauges" lite comes on....not entirely sure but I think it's in the owner's manual. I'm too lazy to go to the car & look it up!

"Check Gauges" is not caused by an engine malfunction code, that would be "Service Engine Soon". I agree with the previous poster, oil temp/pressure or voltage.

all my gauges still read fine. are their secondary sensors that go to that light . guess ill have to hook up some mechanicals or does anyone know how to test to see if that light has gone haywire. sorry but I am electricly challenged
