Quote:
This 1958 Chevrolet Corvette was acquired by the owner in 2017 as an unfinished project and was subsequently refurbished and modified by Automotion Classics of Troy, New York, and debuted at the 2018 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada. Work included stripping, modifying, and refinishing the body, reupholstering the interior, installing a custom chassis with C4 front and rear suspension components, QA1 adjustable coilovers, C5 disc brakes, and a Holley HP EFI system as well as a 5.7-liter LT5 DOHC V8 linked to a TCI 6X six-speed automatic transmission and a Dana 44 rear axle with a limited-slip differential.

Is it my imagination, or did the builder forget to polish the throttle body (or was afraid to)?
Awesome looking car, but almost seems sacrilegious to restomod a '58.
So few survived, but as an old friend said so succinctly, there's a butt for every seat.

Not my cup of tea. With those headlights the car looks like this guy.--Bob

Aside from the horrendous headlights, they got rid of two of the '58s most defining features, the tail lights and the sail exit exhaust. I understand the want for restomodding (fuel injection, newer brakes, etc.) but I wouldn't give them a dime for a car that needs so much work to make it look good again (at least in my opinion.)
