Is this an EGR tube? 94 ZR-1
Good afternoon. Would appreciate an ID on this tube on a 1994 which runs along the passenger side of the engine. It connects to the plenum at the top, then runs down past the oil pressure switch, curves around the rad house, etc. I've assumed it is EGR.
The tube is blocking access to the oil pressure switch on the underside of the oil filter adapter. The switch is leaking quite a lot and needs to be replaced. While the outer part appears flexible, I suspect there is a hard line in there. In that case, I suppose it would have to be disconnected top and bottom to move it aside? I was hoping it would be enough to only disconnect it at the top, but I'm probably not that lucky. |

It is EGR tube. I removed mine long before replacing oil pressure switch and didn?t deal with it being in the way.
I believe it is flexible. |
