Boost Gauge
Hello all,
My Z has a boost gauge on it. What is the purpose of having this on something without forced induction? At the last WAZOO meet we figured it was reading the intake vacuum. How do I utilize it? IMG_4850.jpg |

Re: Boost Gauge
Install a 10,000rpm tach in a conspicuous location & set the redline at 9,000. Take it to a car show and enjoy the comments!

Re: Boost Gauge
You have no choice but to put a turbo in it now. [emoji38]

Re: Boost Gauge
Darn! You're right, why let a perfectly good gauge go to waste?!

I suppose I could swap it to something useful then. What else would actually be worthwhile? Oil Pressure? Doesn't need to be a high performance related thing, something good for troubleshooting is fine by me. EDIT: Also a thought. Could this boost gauge have been used to watch for a collapsing air duct?
