Default Need oil leak help

Hello Folks 10168683.
Looking for part # 10168683. The shop says this is for the oil pressure regulator gasket that is leaking. They are replacing the oil pressure sending unit with GM AC Delco part. What is the best repair for the oil pressure regulator?

Am traveling today so sorry for the cell phone post.
Thanks for the help.

Usually just tightening the 2 8mm bolts does it. JerrysGaskets.com has the gasket.

Thanks for the quick reply. The shop said still dripped after tightening.
Will order new gasket and cover.

What replacement radiator is best for these cars? Dewitts seems to fit the best per reading under the search results.

Thanks for your help.

My preference was Dewitt dual core.

I bought a Dewitts Single Row a few years ago. High quality, easy install, with 50% more capacity than stock.

My Z at the time was had about 465 hp and was chipped to run the cooling fans at 180. Even in the hottest conditions never once did I have a temperature issue.

The Dewitt single row slides in easily with no cutting or machining the electric fan shroud. It includes spacers for the fan shroud and all hardware.

I think the double row Dewitts is not necessary for stock or slightly modified cars.

If you want to install the DeWitts double row, it is peobably like the Ron Davis double row on my current Z.

On this car the fan shroud is shaved down. The fan shroud is fiberglass and it looks like a belt sander can do it. Doesn't look too hard if that the is route you want to take.

Thanks for the info and comments. Ordered from Jerrys to repair the oil leak. I will call DeWitts tomorrow for more info and recommendations on sizing, capacity, and pricing. Leaning towards the larger capacity as a piece of mind strategy.

i ordered and installed the same gasket hoping to fix the same leak.
what a pain in the azz getting the bolts tightened and scraping the old gasket off. have not re filled the crankcase or even started the engine and i see oil on the lower bolt head. for something else, we pulled the motor and i intend to put thread sealant on the bolts. we'll see how that does.

Installed a Dewitts single row last year. Beautiful piece of workmanship. It was worth the wait.

I ordered 2 new bolts, new cover, and new gasket from Jerry?s. The thread sealant seems like a good idea.
Dewitts had a 2 row in stock with 10% off this morning.
All parts are shipped and I hope to give you all a happy ending next week.
Thanks for helping with your experience and solutions.

You can also come up to our Wazoo maintenance day this Sunday and we can lend a hand if you need it.
