Default WTB: Shelby Wheels

Been going back and fourth but figured I'd see whats out there, again.

Looking for a set of Shelby Series 1 wheels.

Ideally a set thats already been modded to fit over C5 brakes but let me know what you have. With or without tires, not an issue.

dgierom82 at gmail.com if its easier

I didn?t have any luck fitting them over the c5 brakes. I would have have to shave the caliper a bit

Talked to Dempsey yesterday and he said hes got customers with C6Z calipers running the Shelby wheels.

Worth a try... for the right price

So you're not just looking for a Unicorn, but a very specific Unicorn with a rainbow colored horn and pink polkadots?

My understanding on running C5 calipers is you have to reverse the face on them and run a small wheel space as well. Pretty sure anyone that's gone through the effort is probably not interested in selling, but never hurts to ask, I just wouldn't hold my breath.

Im willing to put in the elbow grease. Gives me a chance to put a fresh finish on them and really make them pop anyway

I just want to find a set now lol

C6Z brakes with Shelby wheels, requires machining on the wheels and the calipers. I ran C5 calipers with my Shelby wheels, but my Wilwoods seem to fit much better with the Shelby wheels

Ive heard Wilwoods may offer more caliper to whee clearance and always willing to upgrade my brakes, but not willing to go rearward in braking performance (back to stock)

Still hoping to keep the C5 brakes for now as they fit the look of the car and do well enough for the driving ive thrown at it
