Default '90-'91 ZR-1 / LT5 ECM

Anybody know of a source for new/rebuilt ECM's for the '90/'91 ZR-1 / LT5?? GM no longer sources them, per my local Chevy Parts Dept., and, although most of the big aftermarket parts houses catalog them, invariably they are "out of stock". Thanks for your help!! Ted

Ted: Try pn 16163993. There were a few left. You will need to have the part VIP'ed else it will never come.

Hey George - THANKS for the reply - I checked w/ my local Bowtie Parts guy, and they are available, and they are '92-'93 ZR-1 ECM's. Do you know what differences there are between these and the '90 ECM's?? I've got Service Manuals for '90 and '94, but that really doesn't help here. THANKS again Ted

Someone told me that they would work for my ’89 LT-5 conversion (he checked with a guy at Delco. Do I know for sure? No. But they were not that much money in the grand scheme of things and I have few options. So I bought one. From the outside it looks correct, black tin case.
