yes, for selling at several autotrader sites. Price is now 23900 euro. Just some weeks ago you could buy it for only 17000 euro from a private seller and it was looking visually bad. Here for example a former pic of the engine: http://www.fbodyeurope.org/albums/LS...ZR14.sized.jpg And now after a little polish: http://i20.ebayimg.com/04/m/000/7d/11/d3a1_27.JPG The car is now just refurbished by a car dealer. The car is out of order since 1996. Don`t know if there are any damages. Apart from that now a very nice looking exemplar - if I only had known it a little ealier this one would be a superb alternative to my Z. I love C4 Cabrios, a ZR1 would be a fairly unique piece - not only in Germany.

Re: ZR1 convertible for sale at Germany
There must have been some individuals that had them built. There was a white vert out of British Columbia, Canada at the Vette Fest in Boise last year. It drew a crowd for sure. Chevrolet only built one though, as far as the books state.

Re: ZR1 convertible for sale at Germany
from what I understand this car started out stock and had the conversion professionally done. gordon k saw the car and it's very unique.
expensive, but oh so exclusive. very cool.

Re: ZR1 convertible for sale at Germany
According to Tek's post it was not being taken care of (at least cosmetically) and was selling pretty cheap at only 17,000eu. At that price it would have been worth taking a chance on.

Re: ZR1 convertible for sale at Germany
Anyway, the VIN number of this car says it is a real ZR1 according to the seller.
So I guess this car must be a real ZR1. It also shows all significant Z features - inside and outside. Yes, probably car startet out totally stock and got a convertible conversion later on.
