Good morning guys, I am trying to track down a miss in my engine. I want to test each fuel injector with plenum off. Mark H has a procedure where he says to unhook the Grey harness to the ECM and ground a number of pins to energize each injector. I don't have a gray connector. I have a yellow, red, green and brownish one. Did they change colors during production? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I took off all 4 connectors and this yellow one matches the gray one MH has posted in his trouble shooting article. The cut outs for fitment to the ECM are the same but the color is throwing me off. I don't want to burn anything up. When I was doing my fuel injectors seems like I read somewhere where during production the colors did change, but can't find that info now.

Small piece of advice, while back probing the sockets, be very careful not to stick the DVM probe forcefully down into the sockets. It will stretch out the socket and cause the male pin not to seat properly causing a bad contact which will cause misfiring.
Ask me how I learned this lesson........ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 'Crabs

Thanks Crabs, MH mentions that also in his article. I just got her back together, sounds better, going to test drive and see what happens. Thanks
