Default Corvette emblem stickum

I just purchased a gorgeous dark red metallic z. The rear valance corvette emblem was removed for painting. Where do I get the double sided cut to design stickum to reinstall the emblem?

this will work just fine and isnt too thick. I used it to reattach the door bumper guards on all four doors of our 2007 Denali XL when they started to come off years ago.

If you are taking about “CORVETTE” on the rear bumper, I use 3M double stick tape, cut thin strip (less than 1/8”) and attach along the edge of the letters. This allows easy removal once a year to clean between and inside O and R and polish the entire area.

No problems with the paint where the tape is removed?

None. Skinny strip of 3M double stick around the outer edge will peel off once started at one end with dental floss.

After painting, I used the 3M double sided tape (purchased from an autobody repair supply store in Joliet, IL - forget the name, just now..).

But, to remove the old/faded emblems on the hood and the gas door, I had great luck sawing under the old emblems with mono-filiment fishing line after soaking with 3M Adhesive Remover. NO paint damage (on my car).

For all things like paint and autobody work, places like autobody supply stores is where to go for "the right stuff". (I found Arnie's Autobody Supply in Joliet was excellent whenever I had a need [I have no ties or interest beyond helping someone find what they need, based on personal experience!].

Yep that is what I did. I went to a body shop paint supply store. They also have great selection of plastic inserts, Grahm Etts, pushpins, body bolts. Lots of good stuff you’re always looking for two or three of.

I bought half inch wide tape and I’m applying it just so and a little bit long then I will drill holes in my workbench flip it upside down and trim it all off with a razor blade. Working on it now.
