Front shock question..
Going to change the front shocks on my 91...Don't want to damage the actuator ...How does it come off ? Straight pull ? Twist and pull ?..

Re: Front shock question..
To remove the actuator (motor on top) Remove the clip at the base and just lift off.

Re: Front shock question..
Not sure, I know they'll fit and that the 93 had a different program.

Re: Front shock question..
I'm not sure it will fit. The 89-92 had a similar spec brass "nut" on the top and the 93-95 had a different size. I'm not sure if you have to swap actuators (and will they work with "the box" or if you can swap out "nuts?"

Re: Front shock question..
My understanding is there are (2) series of shocks 89-91 and 92-95. The difference is in the amount of rotation the adjustment gear on the top of the shock has. 92-95 have less rotation. You should be able to confirm the amount of rotation between the (2) types of shocks. Bilstein recently made a production run and many retailers still have them in stock.

Vette73
If you decide to go with the later shocks, I may have a controller that will work for you. It is controller # 22114335. Would need to do some research to be positive it is for the '92-'95 shocks. First indications are that it is. Again, need to be sure. If you need it let me know. We will work something out.
