Apologies if this info is already here. I didn't find it with the search words I used.
Recently I turned off my car and the defroster blower motor was running hard, and didn't turn off, even after removing the key and leaving the car. Luckily I had a battery disconnect switch, otherwise it would have been a dead battery for sure. Once home I Googled and found this perfect video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WT5u2LwhXhI Not only does it identify the problem (control module), but also that a $30 '93 Jeep Cherokee part is identical and much cheaper than the Corvette PN. I still shake my head when I think about trying to solve problems before the internet filled up with all this valuable information. |
