Is this delamination?
I noticed this on my drive to work this morning. It's not a chip in the glass, as it seems to be inside the windshield....running my finger over the mark from both the inside of the car and outside the car, you can't feel anything. It's smooth. So is this the start of the dreaded delamination???

Re: Is this delamination?
Haven’t see one like that. Usually it’s shows up a hazing or yellowing around the outer edges of the glass.

Re: Is this delamination?
As Hans said, delam as we think about it looks like the photo below--lightening around the edges of the windshield. This is what my '95 looked like. Notice in the lower left corner that I mounted my Vi and my I Pass transponder in the cutout area. If I didn't know better, what you show almost looks like something scraped some film off the windshield, like my I Pass might have. But I don't think there is a tint or other film on the inside of stock windshields. Is it possible that your windshield is a replacement that someone tried to make look stock with some tint film before install? But I guess if you can't feel anything then it is likely on the inside of the glass. Grasping at straws here but can't think of anything else. --Bob
