All,
Been busy the last few weeks replacing door panels and the passenger side knee bolster carpet. Needless to say when I took off the old carpet, the “beeswax” faced me and spelled hours or drudge. But I bumped into something while looking for the prescribed acetone. And it works amazingly well. I read on the lable that it removes tree sap, tar, and glue from carpet. So BINGO, I bought it. In the pics attached it takes 10 minutes for this stuff to start having an affect on the beeswax. Took me less than 20minutes to cleanup the wax in the BEFORE pic. GooGone. Works Great- Last edited by XfireZ51; 03-08-2024 at 02:05 PM. |

Thanks for the info. I have some of that work to do and I have been putting it off since last fall due to dealing with the horrible mess. This looks like it will work! Thanks.

Thanks 4 the info, Dom!
I tried 3M Adhesive remover and that "orange" stuff - they worked, but it took hours and multiple reapplications to get it off (of the hush panels). Anywhere else and the 3M is amazing. |

I like Goof Off! Test an area first because it is strong.
