Default Hood and Hatch Lift Struts

Did you know New Lift Struts (Hood) will require you to actually Push The Hood Down after opening?

Did you know New Lift Struts (Hatch) will completely open the hatch by themselves when activating the yellow Hatch Button?

And if you also use the 2 small struts that have provisions for them the hood will open so hard you’d think the damn thing will fly forward and smack the ground. Ask me how I know.

I like the Rear Hatch opening completely by itself with a push of the yellow button.
I am not so sure I would like the Hood to completely open by itself if I pull the Hood Release

It won’t open by itself but once you start to lift it it can get away from you and take off, rather quickly I must say, kinda like a gust of 100 mile an hour wind catchin a sail,a big fiberglass sail.

You have to lift the Center Console Lid to see the yellow Hatch Button....
And if you have nice new Hatch Lift Struts (one each side) the Hatch will pop open all the way to the top

Merry Christmas BigJohn, efnfast, and Z51JEFF
