Default New ZR1 owner

Hello All - I just purchase a 1990 ZR1 Dark Red with black interior. The car has 5,000 miles on it and I am the second owner. Just wanted to introduce my self to the forum and hopefully I will not need any car help for awhile.

Thanks
John

Welcome to the addiction. Congrats on the purchase. Lots of great talented people here to help you out should you need it. Sounds like a great car. Post some pix so we can see.

Thanks - The only issue with my car is the radio. Power goes on and antenna goes up but, no sounds. I have heard this is a common issue with these cars.

Yes a very common C4 issue. Could be the radio, could be the speaker amps.

This the go to guy for radio issues.

I second Dr. Don as the go to guy for audio issues on the Z's.
He is very available for advise and all reports are he does excellent work which he stands behind.

Welcome to the Land of Z, JMO. Sounds like a nice, low mile beauty.

Post some pics when you stop driving her.

Otherwise, enjoy!

Welcome. This forum is the best ever. I purchased a one owner car also and this forum ensures I am getting the correct parts and installation procedures. Ask, search and learn. Together we can keep this corvette legend alive.
