Cruise nite: ZR-1s draw a crowd
Attending a local Cruise Nite, I noticed a steady increase in interest in the ZR-1s lately. A steady stream of visitors stopped by to look at the little cadre of ZR-1s to look and take pictures and ask questions.
This show (for us) is a regular event. Always lots of participation by area clubs and enthusiasts! We hang out with the cars, walk about seeing some really nice cars - many are treats one just doesn't see often! We have dinner (Mexican) and hang out and tell people about our cars - more and more, of late (it seems). The next (and last show of the season) is October 14th. We gather at a rally point (parking lot or Mike Cichon's house) and leave for the show around between 2:30 and 3 and park together as a group. It's a nice excuse for a Sat afternoon/evening in the Z! We had a great time and met some new ZR-1 owners too! These were some pix from the Sept Morris Cruise night. the 3 Zs pictured are Ami's 91 ported, cammed, race-prepped, Z (aka the "Turq Monster"), my red, ported "500" Z, and Mike Cichon's Rippy-prepped Z and some other attractions! .

Beautiful line-up of Zs in the first pic.

If I got rich tomorrow a 05-06 Ford GT would be at the top of the car list. No Ferrari no Lambo. Oh,and of course the C8 IF it looks as good as I hope it will, if not then the Cadillac.
