Thinking of going to Carlisle this Saturday and Sunday..What time does everyone start packing up on Sunday to go home?
Is it a ghost town by late morning,or do people Stay around till closing? |

Re: Question about Sunday in Carlisle....
Sunday is a worthless day honestly. There will be around 12 of us still standing there

Re: Question about Sunday in Carlisle....
Sunday is not the day it used to be in the early days and before the internet. They use to have the bikini contest and the Corvette give-away on Sundays, so the placed was packed to well after 5PM. Vendors would start to leave, but nowhere near as many that do in this time period. Your best deals for parts were on Sunday as the vendors wanted to make those last minute sales!!!
Now, it is almost like a ghost town on Sunday as you mentioned, again, nothing compared to the Sundays of years gone by!!! And I still remember the days where you were literally elbow-to-elbow in the swap area, thousands of people shopping....now a days you can walk the swap area freely without the humongous crowds as previous years. Corvettes@Carlisle is still the place to be, but the demographics have changed over the years for various reasons, thus the reason for a "slow" Sunday, IMO. But you will not be disappointed, as it is one of the best if not the best Corvette show's there is!!!

Re: Question about Sunday in Carlisle....
Friday is usually a pretty good day, not as
crowded as Saturday. |
