It was an interesting read, but it brings up a couple of questions. The LT5 race engine, bored out to 6.3 liters, and with two turbos, put out only 575hp?
Too bad no pix of the engine. Is it possible that this was not a turbo motor? I know that's 22 years ago, but it doesn't sound right. Even without turbos, that engine should have been putting out more than that. Also, how could they expect this car to compete in a LeMans class with an under 2,000 lb. weight minimum? |

Thanks for posting that. I wonder what the issue was with the engines? Lack of lubrication?
