Itty Bitty Bulb needed
Where do I get the little bitty light bulb that illuminates the electric window switches? It removes from the body of the switch with a tiny screwdriver. It is a yellowish orange color. Burnt out. I am type A and enjoy victory over the small things too.

Re: Itty Bitty Bulb needed
If possible see if there is still a legible part number on the bulb. Then check the parts stores, etc. I have never seen any listed for that application.

Re: Itty Bitty Bulb needed
OP - Where did you disappear to?
You've got a non-working so you can disassemble risking no loss at all. The amber filter is flexible and I've found some of my older work and believe there are very inexpensive solutions. I'm not un-wiring mine! http://www.jkllamps.com/pdfs/CNW1_MULTI_LISTING.pdf I'd shop either a T1 or T1 1/4 wire terminal and try a re-wire and the old amber filter. If a T1 1/4 would work I believe that Bulb Town has a filter also. No filter for the T1. Last edited by WVZR-1; 05-28-2017 at 02:51 PM. |

Re: Itty Bitty Bulb needed
Thanks so much. Part number is accurate for complete switch assembly. The itty bitty bulb is not a separate part number. Maybe I can find one at Carlisle. A 1,600 mile road trip for a $1.60 part makes sense to me![emoji41]

This is the bulb only! OP - I've never attempted to match the bulb/socket and I've only ever seen it referenced to a Stanley # If you've the bulb/socket removed presently I'd try to compare dimensions to a T3, T4. Dimensions are in the link. http://www.autolumination.com/74.htm Easier to read dimensions https://www.ebay.com/p/?iid=382069402972&&&chn=ps Many years ago I did several switch back-lighting projects for other than Corvette projects that used some Pontiac/Olds/Buick lighting. I believe I actually sourced most of the project using MOPAR. This is from a later C4 FSM - Bulb charts are in the 8B & 8C sections of the FSM. The Stanley reference information is there also. OP. It is indeed a T3 NeoWedge bulb. I purchased from a generic vendor on EBAY. Four bulbs for 5 dollars. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry
