Torsion Dampener Pictures

John,
The car has 79000 miles, my belief is that the rubber got brittle and cracked, then the piece fell out. The engine had a slight vibration, I could tell something was not right, howver, those riding in the car could feel or hear nothing. You'll need a mirror to check it out, it's very difficult to see and I would not have found it. As I said in my Net e-mail the shop I took it to found it while inspecting the car. It is a PTA to change out. Thanks, Jerry |

Jerry, one thing to consider as well is the use of chemicals to clean around the engine compartment.
