This link is about an Aston Martin, but I wonder if our Zs are also susceptible to this type of failure.

I would suspect that likely during his drive down I95 something hit that windshield, and might not have left much of a mark.
Once the heat cold cycle occurred, then the crack happened. I have never had a crack in a windshield that was not caused by an earlier impact, regardless if it had starred or not. Good to see his cost far more than ours! I thought 2900 was rough for the ZR-1 with new weatherstrip and tax! I guess everything is indeed relative! ![]() Marty |

Agreed, I have seen steam come off my windshield when it rains on a hot day in Texas, and nothing cracked.
