Friday aftenoon CANNOT get here quick enough. Following your guys's advice, I found a super '91 in the for sale section. I'm flying down to Florida to pick it up, and bring it back to the beach. I imagine a 900 mile shakedown cruise should be pretty entertaining.

Welcome Aboard!
Enjoy the shakedown cruize. Be forewarned, these cars like to go fast. They do it better than pretty much any other car. You can break *EVERY* speed law in the country in first gear. There are 5 more gears to explore after that. You will learn "PermaGrin". ![]() ![]() TomC '90ZR1 #792 My new favorite quote (thanks LocoBob) "Driving a ZR1 in traffic is like being a Great White Shark in a Goldfish Bowl." congrats, you will love your ride. I have 2 so there allways is 1 to drive. one thing buy yourself a extra serpintine belt and take a 1/2 in breaker bar , just in case it breaks .I allways keep one in each car .It is no reflection on the pior owner . these over time deteriorate. Just a good safety precaution.Jmho

![]() ![]() I did have it inspected prior to flying out and gave it a good hour myself before heading off. So take the time needed to make sure it is ready for a long journey and get to know it a little before you go WOT. Drive safe and have a great drive home. ![]() |

I know that feeling, it was about this time last year I was counting down to get my Z. Its a fantastic car and a fantastic feeling... Sometimes it will piss you off but the feeling it gives you to drive it is second to none...
