Your Mileage May Vary
I saw 8CAM's 44444 pic and I focused on the
Average 16.2 MPG. Mine is also in that range with both city and highway driving. What do you get? Last edited by tf95ZR1; 06-30-2016 at 08:09 PM. Reason: Wanted 2 |

Re: Your Mileage May Vary
If I just run the interstate 24-26
16-18 around town is about right.

NOTE: I never really went by the mpg read-out. Mine was done the old fashioned way: gallons/mileage calculation by hand.

Re: Your Mileage May Vary
Same here. My avg reads 19.2 right now. But I've probably only driven 60 miles around here since a 400 mile trip to Paducah last fall for a show. But I would say that 19 is pretty average for it. 25-26 hwy at 75-80 mph..

Re: Your Mileage May Vary
When driving long distance I know my Z has a longer range than my bladder. If I keep my foot under control it'll do 25 mpg or a little better.

Re: Your Mileage May Vary
Normally when it's all said and done from tank to tank I hover between 17-19.
I literally just got done driving from Marc Haibeck's shop to Indianapolis and got 27.4 though. (Old school math, not trip computer math).

Re: Your Mileage May Vary
As I remember several years ago I set cruise at 103 in sixth on level road and and the instant mpg said 20.5.
I have also done the math on paper and pencil and found the average mpg on the computer within a half mpg of being correct.
