Latest hemming's has article stating that GM has just filed a trademark for the zr1 moniker with the US Patent Office. Their speculation is that GM is gearing up to release a new "top dog" corvette. I would speculate the mid engine corvette. Can't wait to see what develops!

In that article about spy shots of the mid engine a post mentions that he is happy the 52 year run of 4 round taillights design on the Corvette are gone . That to me is a huge insult to the original design of the Corvette . Think about it . 52 years of that rear look . It must have been working or GM would have changed it up from day one . You would know right off it was a Corvette . The 4 taillights would always give a fabulous Corvette away, no ifs ans or buts . Tho I know a lot of people obviously like the new look according to there sales but sometimes when looking at them , your fooled into thinking it is something else . A Ferrari or a Porsche or even a Camaro . My 3 cents Last edited by Tripler; 09-14-2016 at 05:55 PM. |
