Default Throttlebody work

I am considering sending my stickig TB to Marc to have the polishing service done to fix my sticky throttle plates. Is he the only person to offer this service?

Send it to Marc. I took my car up there and stayed all day while they worked on it. Marc and his son are very meticulous and know their stuff. If he was closer I would have less $ in my bank account for sure..LOL

My newly acquired car is there now. He found a few issues including one serious that could potentially have lead to catastrophic engine failure if not corrected. Additionally, he is doing even more performance modifications and Dyno-tune to realize this cars full potential.
He's a pleasure to talk to, I'm looking forward to visiting with him and driving my beast home to NY.

I wish I lived closer. He is about an 8 hour drive from me. I will be sending him my TB and chip for a tune. I knew he was good, but I just didn't know if I should be looking at other options.

Next question: Must I drain coolant to take off the throttlebody?

OK....I have to ask......What issue could lead to catastrophic engine failure?

Marc Haibeck’s inspection discovered the right upper camshaft chain facing was missing. A new facing was installed. The plastic retaining tab had let go. The left side facing was inspected and found to be present, but the cam cover tolerance at the bolts had to be corrected There's a link on his site that explains what can potentially go wrong.

1990 #1727 street tuned & Dyno-tune now completed

You have to drain SOME of it not all of it.
